Mulberries from my potted garden

I didn’t know mulberries can be grown in tropical climate until my aunt offered me some from her garden.
Feeling inspired, we got some mulberry plants for our little potted garden. They grew and grew but still no sign of fruits. I have almost given up hope.
Then, little mulberries started appearing. Finally, after months of waiting, our mulberry plants are bearing fruits!
Okay, I have to admit I’m not the one with the green fingers here. But I am fortunate enough to have a partner who is.
Mulberries are a good source of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.
The fruit is ripe when it turns dark purple to black. Being impatient, I tried a red one and it tasted a little tangy, not exactly the sweet berry I was expecting.
So I’m now patiently waiting for the mulberries to ripen.
