I barely remember my half-day transit in Seoul many years back.
All I can recall were metal chopsticks, piping hot ginseng chicken soup – so hot it burnt my tongue. And quarrelling bus drivers (the driver of the bus I was in started arguing with another bus driver over some minor traffic incident).
As for Korean food, I can’t exactly recall how the authentic cuisine is like, with my brief memory of scalded tongue and hot soup.
My later experience of Korean food has been less eventful, in a good way.
One of the places I tend to frequent is this eatery in Amcorp Mall for its simple Korean fare and good value.
