Nasi lemak pandan at D Bayan Cafe

One of the things I love about KL is how food is so easily available, anytime and almost anywhere. We have abundance of street food, hawker centers and mamak stalls that stay open way past midnight (some even operate round the clock).
Friends who’ve moved overseas often remark how inconvenient and expensive it is to dine out. I didn’t realize how good we have it here!
Of all the eat-out and takeaway food, nasi lemak is one of my favorite, and the favorite of many fellow Malaysians. We recently came across this gem of a stall at the top floor of Sungai Wang Plaza.
This eatery serves nasi lemak with a variety of dishes and is pretty popular with the lunch crowd. I simply love the fragrant nasi lemak pandan and the ayam goreng berempah (spiced fried chicken).
The variety here is pretty extensive and deciding what to eat is can be a real challenge. A challenge I would happily embrace.
